Just a thought: Is it possible God is using this election to convince Observant-American Jews to relocate to Israel? According to a source at the State Department, there has been an uptick in the number of American Jews who have applied or reapplied for passports. According to the Jerusalem Post, many secular, left-wing Jews are considering relocating to Canada if, please God, Trump wins. On the other hand, many observant Jews, from Modern Orthodox to much more traditional, are making plans to move to Israel if, God forbid, he loses. As I see it, we who believe that, in the final analysis, it's God who calls the shots, even when it comes to elections, can't lose. If, please God, Trump wins, we can feel confident that the Almighty had a hand in it. If, God forbid, he loses, I believe it's because God knows the American-Jewish community will have to leave. We can't stay in the far-left, one-party country this will become for at least a generation if the Democrats win the White House and both Houses of Congress. We can't stay in a country in which mobs rule the street unhindered because those very mobs are an important constituency of the reigning party. For the first time in modern history, the Jewish community has a place to go if we can no longer remain here. But what is going to happen to the rest of our countrymen, the wonderful, God-fearing, morally sane American-Christian community? Thoughts like that keep me up at night.
